Ear ringing that happens every now and then?

Maybe once a week (very rarely) I’ll get a ringing in one of my ears for a few seconds (5-10). I know this is called tinnitus. I’m just wondering if this happens to you and how often it happens to you. Because I was always under the impression that it happened to most people every now and then.

yeah happens to me a good lot usually when im just daydreaming or in bed
i also get it listening to my ipod i dont think its anything bad probably some medical explination is fluids moving in your ear or some muscle adjusting try wikipedia.com
it doesnt happen to me on a daily basis maybe at most 3 times a week or sometimes nothing at all
Happens to me somewhere around 2 times monthly i guess…I don’t pay much attention to it, anyhow.
I usually get it every other day. It’s strange. And when I tell people they always say, “oooh, people are talking about you”
